Woking Leisure Centre offers friendly fitness & leisure facilities for everyone. A gym, fitness studios, indoor & outdoor pitches, cafe. Elegant modern indoor swimming pool, plus leisure lagoon with lazy river, flumes and rapids.

The Leisure Centre opened in 1976 and is accessed via a pedestrian bridge over a small river. It has a number of sports facilities, including 6 squash courts, a new state-of the art gym overlooking the park gym, three fitness studios, a dedicated Spinning (indoor cycling) studio and two halls.

Synergy Dance® Outreach has been in partnership with WLC for many years and runs the following classes at the centre. In addition to inclusive themed dance party packages.

Dance & Movement for Children with SEND & Downs Syndrome 10:15 – 11:00 am Saturday 6 – 11 years BOOK NOW

About Dance & Movement for Downs Syndrome:

This class is specially designed to support children with Down Syndrome. Our inspiring teachers will teach dance routines in a fun, relaxed setting and encourage peer to peer to support. Suitable for verbal and non-verbal students.

Benefits include improved fitness and stamina, decreased stress, improved balance, spatial awareness and coordination, improved posture, new friendships and networks, the chance to exercise, improved confidence, well-being, and increased independence and quality of life.

About SEND/VI Dance for Teens:

Calling all children, teens and young adults! This class is specially designed to support teens with visual impairments and/or special needs or disabilities. Our inspiring teacher will help you to keep fit and share your moves in a fun, dance and fitness class. Includes resistance, stretching, toning, strength and cardio work, increasing energy levels, muscle tone and strength, endurance, flexibility and motor skills.

Benefits include improved fitness and stamina, decreased stress, improved balance, spatial awareness and coordination, improved posture, new friendships and networks, the chance to exercise as a family, improved confidence, well-being, increased independence and quality of life.

About SENSational Ballet:

Does your child dream of tutus and becoming a ballerina? Join our unique SEN ballet class – to learn basic ballet technique, posture and style without the pressure of grades! Designed for SEN students, this class is taught in a relaxed style and parents/carers are welcome. Dressing up encouraged!
