Synergy Dance® Outreach provides dance, movement, yoga and fitness classes for all ages and abilities. We are fully inclusive and offer both mainstream and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) programs.
Our workshops may often be provided free of charge in community venues for disadvantaged children and teens and for projects which have a social impact.

Movement & Dance Family Fitness Course
For children with Visual Impairments & Special Educational Needs
Saturdays 10:30am – 11:15am (8+ years – Teens & Parents/Carers)

Our fun family dance and fitness classes include resistance, stretching, toning, strength and cardio work, increasing energy levels, muscle tone and strength, endurance, flexibility and motor skills. Benefits include improved fitness and stamina, decreased stress, improved balance, spatial awareness and coordination, improved posture, new friendships and networks, the chance to exercise as a family, improved confidence, self-esteem, well-being, increased independence and quality of life.

SEND Dance & Movement Course
Mondays 4:00pm – 4:45pm (5+ years)

Relaxed sessions to enhance your child’s day – explore group & partner work, themed movement, dance games, contact improv, including fun props, signage and imaginative play. We will ensure a safe and effective class to explore dance with music in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. We have taken into consideration the following aspects: Sensory Processing and loud noise – music will be played at a suitable level; Simple and clear instructions with visual supports for those with learning difficulties or require that extra visual prompt to an instruction.

SEND After School Yoga Class for Children and Parents/Carers
Thursdays 3:45pm – 4:30pm (Children and Parents/Carers)

Experience our after school Yoga class for children with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities -taught by expert teachers, in liaison with ParaDanceUK and British Blind Sport. All participants learn technique, posture, core, balance and mindfulness. Parents/Carers are warmly invited to attend with their child. Experience the benefits of yoga – build up core stability, resistance, stretching and toning, improving posture. Our classes also provide stress relief, “some space in between” and the opportunity to make new friends. Optional lavender bags, scented oils, blankets and head massage for a truly uplifting experience.
