Opportunities for All

We offer new enrichment opportunities to those who are disadvantaged and often marginalised by SEND in their daily lives or excluded from many mainstream recreational and physical activities.

We work with children, young people and adults affected by multiple disadvantages, disability and discrimination including:

  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (“SEND”)
  • Long Term and Life
  • Limiting Health Conditions (“LTHC’S and LLHCs”) including physical disabilities (congenital and acquired)
  • Mental health issues and neurological conditions, spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Downs Syndrome
  • Autistic spectrum conditions, limited communication, cancer, multiple disabilities, hearing loss, visual impairments, long-Covid, stroke, Limb loss and amputation.

We remove the usual barriers by providing accessible, fun activities where children or adults feel welcome. Participants learn new life-skills, building confidence, self-esteem, independence and resilience, and new important friendships/networks with others with similar lived experience.

Synergy also supports children and adults who may be struggling emotionally/mentally for a variety of reasons including bullying, abuse, bereavement or coming to terms with LGBTQ identity.

Our classes aim to improve mental well-being, reduce isolation, anxiety and feelings of stress and frustration, and improve their ability to cope with life and the challenges faced.

We support children living in poverty, delivering classes they can access during school holidays, with free and subsidised classes where possible.

We continue to meet our service-user needs operating a hybrid model of online and in-person delivery offering more accessible options to reach more and more people of all ages throughout the UK.
