Our goal is to make movement accessible, engaging, and empowering for all.
Our Online Resources for the Visually Impaired and Blind
We’ve carefully crafted a variety of resources to cater to different needs and preferences, ensuring that everyone can find a way to enjoy movement and stay active.
- Sensory Pre-Recordings for Dance and Yoga Our sensory pre-recorded sessions are designed to engage the senses and guide participants through dance and yoga routines. These recordings are enriched with detailed audio descriptions, ensuring that every movement is clearly explained and easy to follow. The sessions are paced to allow participants to fully immerse themselves in the experience, helping to develop body awareness, balance, and coordination. There is also the option to pause and repeat.
-
Commissioned Audios and Records We offer personalized, commissioned audio recordings tailored to the needs of individuals or groups. Whether it’s a specific dance style, a yoga routine, or a relaxation session, our commissioned audios provide a bespoke experience that caters to the unique requirements of the visually impaired and blind. These recordings are perfect for charities, educational institutions, or care facilities looking to offer customised content to their communities.
-
Audio Dance Sessions Our audio dance sessions bring the excitement and energy of dance directly to the listener. These sessions are designed to be both fun and instructive, with clear verbal cues guiding participants through each step. Whether you’re looking to learn a new dance style or simply want to enjoy moving to music, our audio dance sessions are a fantastic way to stay active and entertained.
-
Online Zoom Sessions for Community Exercise We also offer live, interactive Zoom sessions that bring the community together in a virtual space. These sessions provide an opportunity for participants to engage in group exercises, dance, and yoga, all led by our experienced instructors. The Zoom format allows for real-time interaction, ensuring that participants receive guidance and support as they move through each session.
Seated and Standing Options for All Abilities
To further accommodate the diverse needs of our participants, we offer both seated and standing options through our ParaStars Dance and ParaStars Yoga programs. These low-impact sessions are specifically designed to be accessible to individuals with varying levels of mobility, making them ideal for those who may prefer or require a gentler approach to exercise. Whether you’re participating from a chair or standing, our ParaStars sessions provide a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the physical and mental benefits of dance and yoga, tailored to their individual needs.
Supporting Charities, Education, leisure centres and the Care Sector
Beyond our online resources, Synergy Dance is committed to providing live classes and support for charities, leisure centres, educational institutions, and the care sector. Our team of instructors is experienced in working with visually impaired and blind participants, offering inclusive and accessible live classes tailored to the needs of each group.
- Live Classes for Charities and leisure centres: We partner with charities and leisure chains to deliver dance and yoga classes that are specifically designed for the visually impaired and blind. These classes can be held in person or virtually, depending on the needs of the charity and its members.
- Educational Support: We work with schools and educational institutions to integrate our resources into their curriculum, providing students with opportunities to participate in dance and yoga in an inclusive environment. Our sessions can be adapted to fit into various educational settings, ensuring that all students have access to movement-based learning.
- Care Sector Collaboration: For care homes and facilities, we offer tailored programs that cater to the specific needs of residents who are visually impaired or blind. Our live classes are designed to promote physical activity, improve mental well-being, and foster a sense of community among participants.
