Class description for Woking Leisure Centre – Dance for Downs Syndrome:

This class at Woking Leisure Centre is specially designed to support children with Down Syndrome. Our inspiring teachers will teach dance routines in a fun, relaxed setting and encourage peer to peer to support. Suitable for verbal and non-verbal students.

Benefits include improved fitness and stamina, decreased stress, improved balance, spatial awareness and coordination, improved posture, new friendships and networks, the chance to exercise, improved confidence, well-being, and increased independence and quality of life.

Parents or Carers are requested to attend if their child has one-to-one support during school.
