Inclusive Dance & Movement class for SEND participants. Explore imaginative dance, build confidence, strengthen co-ordination, relax, make friends and be creative
Mondays 4:00pm – 4:45pm (5+ years)
Relaxed sessions to enhance your child’s day – explore group & partner work, themed movement, dance games, contact improv, including fun props, signage and imaginative play. We will ensure a safe and effective class to explore dance with music in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. We have taken into consideration the following aspects: Sensory Processing and loud noise – music will be played at a suitable level; Simple and clear instructions with visual supports for those with learning difficulties or require that extra visual prompt to an instruction.

NEW Movement & Dance Family Fitness Course at Woking Leisure Centre
(For VI children & SEN aged 8+ years to Teens & Parents/Carers)
Would you like to exercise as a family? Come and enjoy our relaxed sessions. Participants are encouraged to attend with their parent/carer.
Saturdays 10:30am – 11:15am
Our fun family dance and fitness classes include resistance, stretching, toning, strength and cardio work, increasing energy levels, muscle tone and strength, endurance, flexibility and motor skills. Benefits include improved fitness and stamina, decreased stress, improved balance, spatial awareness and coordination, improved posture, new friendships and networks, the chance to exercise as a family, improved confidence, self-esteem, well-being, increased independence and quality of life.
Wear loose comfortable clothing or gym kit + plimsolls, pumps or trainers. Bring a bottle of water to class.
