New SEND Dance Classes in Fareham: Synergy Kids Movers & Shakers Comes to Fareham!

We’re very excited to announce that Synergy Dance is bringing our inclusive SEND dance and movement sessions to Fareham in January 2027!

Thanks to funding supporting this new project, families can access the entire 11-week term for just £38.50 – only £3.50 per session.

Our new Synergy SEND Kids Movers & Shakers sessions are specially designed for children aged 7–12 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), offering a fun, welcoming and supportive place to dance, move, build confidence and enjoy being active.

Sessions will take place every Saturday morning at The Henry Cort Community College in Fareham, beginning on Saturday 9th January 2027.

An Established Inclusive Dance Programme – Now in Fareham

Although these sessions are brand new to Fareham, Synergy Dance is far from new to inclusive dance.

We have years of experience delivering inclusive and accessible dance, movement and fitness opportunities for children and young people, including specialist SEND provision.

Our approach is centred around making movement enjoyable and accessible. Rather than expecting every child to participate in exactly the same way, we recognise that every child is different.

Movers & Shakers gives children opportunities to explore dance, music, creative movement and accessible fitness in ways that work for them.

Now, we’re delighted to bring that experience to families in Fareham and the surrounding Hampshire area.

What Is Synergy SEND Kids Movers & Shakers?

Movers & Shakers combines dance, music, creative movement and accessible fitness activities in a positive, supportive environment.

Sessions are designed to help children experience the enjoyment and feel-good benefits of being active while developing skills including:

  • Confidence and self-expression
  • Coordination and motor skills
  • Strength and stamina
  • Movement and body awareness
  • Creativity and musicality
  • Social interaction and connection
  • Independence and choice

There is no previous dance or fitness experience required.

Children can participate at their own pace, and activities can be adapted according to individual abilities and support needs.

Some children may love joining in with the whole group straight away. Others might prefer to explore movements differently, observe an activity first or take a little more time to become comfortable.

All of those approaches are welcome.

Our aim is to focus on what each child can do, helping them enjoy movement, experience success and build confidence in a supportive setting.

Experienced SEND Dance Instruction

Sessions are led by an experienced SEND dance instructor who understands the importance of creating an environment where children can participate in ways that work for them.

There is no pressure to perform and no expectation that every child will move or learn in the same way.

Instead, sessions offer positive opportunities to try new things, make choices, express yourself, develop new skills and – most importantly – have fun!

Just £38.50 for the Full 11-Week Term

We want more families to have the opportunity to access high-quality, inclusive activities.

Thanks to funding for this new Fareham project, the full 11-week January–March term costs just £38.50.

That’s only £3.50 per one-hour session.

Spaces are limited, so we encourage families interested in joining our first Fareham term to book early.
